An Inspiring Story about Thomas Alva Edison , His Mother

Lets look at an inspiring story about Thomas Alva Edison , his mother and a letter.

In childhood everybody have some Memories At school to remember.

One of the memorable times of our life are from our school days. Now lets take a sneak peek in Edison s School days.

One day Edison got a letter from his teacher, the teacher told Edison to give the letter to his mother.

He returned from school and gave the letter to his mother and told “My teacher gave this letter to me and told me to only give it to my mother.”

After  reading the letter ,his mother eye,s were tearful .

She read the letter out to her child : Your son is a Genius. This school is small for him and don’t have enough good teachers to train him. Please teach him yourself.

Many years Later, after Edison’s mother had died, He was looking through the room and home for old family belongings and as he went through the drawer he found folded piece of paper , it waS a letter [that his old teacher wrote] . He opened it up and read it .

On the paper it was written: Your Son is Addled [mentally ill/ retard] .I am sorry but, we cannot allow him to attend our school anymore, He is expelled.

Edison became very emotional that day and cried but he made sure to write in his diary “Thomas Alva Edison was an addled child that, by a hero mother, became the genius of the century.”

Now we see , that even his mother was a Genius.
